To celebrate World Book Day, the School Council have organised three competitions, namely:
Competition 1: Short story and poetry competition – these can be about anything at all. For example, children could write a poem about their favourite author or book.
Competition 2: Photograph – children to bring in a photograph of themselves reading their favourite book or acting out a scene from their favourite story. Prizes will be given to the most imaginative photograph.
Competition 3: Picture – draw a picture; this could be a book cover, a character portrait or a mix of lots of different characters and book ideas. Let the imagination take over!
All entries to be handed to Mrs Grealis, School Council Leader, by Wednesday, 2 March 2016.
